The second edition of Assam LitArt Fest which is the flagship annual initiative of The LitArt Foundation will be held in November and we promise to strive to take it to unprecedented heights this year with the unflinching objective of enriching our literary and cultural landscape. The Fest is scheduled for 22nd and 23rd Nov 2025.

It was a very unique experience for me to attend Assam LitArt Fest in 2024, as am not from the creative field. The impressive lineup of guest speakers had given deep insight into many things related to their respective areas of expertise. The impressive questions asked by the organisers added to my cerebral experience. Overall it was an amazing fest and I wish the organisers the very best for the next fest.
‘Art' in itself is a versatile realm and is not confined to literature alone. What is captivating about the Assam LitArt Festival is its amalgamation of literature, art and film under one roof which creates a welcoming platform, not only for the literary enthusiasts but also for many other passionate people whose art transcends the traditional literary boundaries.
At the start of 2024, I happened to attend this beautiful event called Assam LitArt Fest. It translated to an eye opening experience for me as in the course of the two day Fest I got to hear about the very inspiring professional journeys and creative beliefs of some of the country and state’s finest writers, musicians, filmmakers and artists. I also was fortunate enough to be helping the organising team with a few off stage activities and this made me feel more connected to Assam LitArt Fest. My association largely happened because of Joey (Ujjayant Barua) who is my dear friend and part of the core team. I truly look forward to engaging with the second edition of this unique Fest in November this year and wish the team all the very best.
