The first edition of Assam LitArt Fest, which is the flagship annual initiative of The LitArt Foundation, was held at Royal Global University on the 17th and 18th of February 2024. It was inaugurated by Keshab Mahanta, who was then the minister of health and family welfare. The theme of this maiden edition was – Celebrating Plurality of Expressions and it was envisaged to facilitate intellectual dialogues and creative exchanges between the creative professionals of the state and nation. ONGC was the title sponsor of Assam LitArt Fest 2024.

Read MoreAs a one of its kind endeavour, The LitArt Foundation had organised a creative writing workshop in Guwahati on the 4th and 5th of August (2024) for aspiring writers and content professionals. The two day long workshop was conducted by Sathya Saran, who is well acknowledged as a creative writing facilitator in national and even international corporate and literary circuits. Sathya Saran is the former editor of Femina (one of the flagship magazines of The Times Group) and now a consulting editor with PenguinRandomHouse. The workshop was interactive and addressed a diverse range of creative writing formats.
