Ujjayant Barua

Ujjayant Barua is an event management professional with nearly 20 years of experience. An alumnus of Delhi University, he pursued his graduation in sociology from Sri Venkateswara College. Thereafter while pursuing an online MBA course, he started his career with Vibgyor Brand Services, a leading brand services and event management company headquartered at Delhi. Ujjayant was instrumental in setting up the Mumbai office of Vibgyor Brand Services. Brand activation is largely his forte. He has worked for a number of top tier national brands like Hindustan Unilever and Gillette.
Ujjayant relocated to Guwahati a decade ago and has been actively working on event related assignments largely in a freelance capacity. While in school (Don Bosco School, Guwahati), he used to play at school and state level cricket tournaments. A nuanced guitarist, Ujjayant is an active member of the team that manages the live shows of Angaraag Papon Mahanta in Assam.
