Bhim Kanta Neog

Born in Nazira in the Sivasagar District, Bhim Kanta Neog is a retired Grade A mechanical engineer from IOCL. He has served for 36 long years in the fuel sector of IOCL clocking an excellent track record. After his retirement in March 2009, he was offered a position to teach and supervise the newly appointed engineers. Consequently, Neog successfully completed a year guiding and grooming new batches of employees in the department.
He then decided to leave the professional domain and lead a quiet life in his hometown Digboi. Bhim Kanta Neog is an ardent devotee of the teachings of Mahapurush Sankar Dev and a large part of his retired life is dedicated to the quest of spirituality. He likes to read spiritual books in Hindi and Assamese and enjoys gardening and travelling. He is father to two daughters and a son and a doting grandfather to three grand children.
